Backlight

While working on my car over the weekend I put a light under the car and thought to use it as a backlight for a photo.  Only small amounts of light are present on the front portions of the engine.

Fill Light (Ambient)

Using the flash on my camera along with the light coming in from the far end allows you to look clearly down the entire tunnel.

Fill Light (Bounced)

Took this photo of a bridge between Goodview and Minnesota City on Monday.  The light is reflected off of the water and provides more light on the bridge.

Side Light (High Contrast)

While working on my car last week I took a few photos of metal parts and tools on top of a wood board to contrast between metal and wood.

Side Light (Low Contrast)

This picture was taken in the town of Lewiston over the weekend.  Contrast is between light and dark with a light coming from the side.

Expression (Green)

Picture of a large plant near my apartment in Winona on Wednesday.  The color green fills up the entire photo.

Expression (orange)

Pictures taken on Halloween morning along Broadway in Winona.  The orange color dominates the picture.

Complementary Harmony

This photo was taken near Lake Winona on Thursday.  The orange tree with the blue sky complements each other.

Harmony of Simularity

A bright orange fend is in front of of an orange drill followed by a dark orange box car. Photo was taken in the park along the Mississippi River in Winona on Thursday morning.  The colors are the same but have different tints to each one.

Color Accent

Red fire hydrant sits in a patch of green reeds outside of the Winona State Science Center on Thursday.  Red red alone within the green causes it to stand out.
